I'm Favour Shaibu — a senior full-stack engineer and founder who has spent the last six years taking products from an empty repository to production and the demands of real users.
My work spans the full stack and the full lifecycle: data modelling and API design, resilient backends and real-time infrastructure, polished interfaces, and the deployment pipelines that keep them all running. I have shipped 30+ products across fintech, AI, media, healthcare, e-commerce and mobility — each with its own constraints around money, latency, compliance and scale.
I lead with architecture. Before the first line of feature code I map the data, the failure modes and the path to scale, so the product can grow without a rewrite. I care about the unglamorous parts — idempotent webhooks, transactional integrity, observability, accessibility — because they are what separates a demo from a platform a business can stake its revenue on.
Today I build under the Nexugen banner and partner with founders and teams who need a senior engineer who can own a problem end to end and ship it.
